Turogize Inc. (“Company” or “We”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.
This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the personal information of users (“You”) of our app “CharPorts” (“App”), describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use our App or otherwise interact with us, including but not limited to email, social media, and other communication channels, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
We will only use your personal information in accordance with this policy unless otherwise required by applicable law. We take steps to ensure that the personal information that we collect about you is adequate, relevant, not excessive, and used for limited purposes.
Privacy laws in Canada generally define “personal information” as any information about an identifiable individual, which includes information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person. Personal information does not include business contact information, including your name, title, or business contact information.
This policy applies to information we collect, use, or disclose about you:

· In email, text, social media and other electronic messages between you and us.
· Any other sources.
The App may include links to third-party apps, plug-ins, services, social networks, or applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow the third party to collect or share data about you. If you follow a link to a third-party App or engage a third-party plugin, please note that these third parties have their own privacy policies and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. We do not control these third-party apps, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of every app you visit.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices for collecting, processing, and storing your information. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our App. By accessing or using the App, you indicate that you understand, accept, and consent to the practices described in this policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy 0). Your continued use of the App after we make changes indicates that you accept and consent to those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU
We collect and use several types of information from and about you, including:
· Personal information, including any data that we can reasonably use to directly or indirectly identify you, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, user name or other similar identifier, billing and account information such as credit card number and billing address, and any other identifier we may use to contact you online or offline. In addition, the information we collect may also include vehicle-related data, such as your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), and the location of the charging facility used. This information may, when combined with other data, be linked to your personal information and used to support the provision and management of our services. (collectively, “personal information”).
· Information you provide, including the content, communications and other information you provide when you create or share content, or message or communicate with us, such as any feedback you posted on the App.
· Your usage, including details such as the location where you charge your vehicle, the time and duration of each charging session, the quantity of electricity charged, and related usage patterns.
· Information about transactions made through the App, including the name of the charging facility operator, the payment handling agent involved in the transaction, billing information (including the amount charged and payment method), billing address, and the date, time, and location of the transaction.
· Information provided by others about you, including information provided by organizations that manage charging activities for a group of users to which you belong, such as your employer or a condominium manager, as well as charging facility operators or payment processors. Such information may relate to your charging sessions, energy consumption, transactions, and usage of the charging facilities.
· Non-personal information, that does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity or directly relate to an identified individual, such as demographic information, or statistical or aggregated information. Statistical or aggregated data does not directly identify a specific person, but we may derive non-personal statistical or aggregated data from personal information. For example, we may aggregate personal information to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific App feature.
· Technical information, including your login information, time zone setting, operating system and platform, or information about your internet connection, the device you use to access the App, and usage details.
COOKIES
Cookies are files that contain information about your browsing activities, which allow the website to personalize for your visit, remember your preference, and provide faster loading time, and so forth. When you visit a website, your device will automatically store the Cookie within the browser, and Cookies are primarily used for developing your browse experience. Yet, Cookie are not essential, and you can opt-out any point by changing the setting of your browsers.
We use the information collected from you to support and enhance the delivery of our services. Specifically, we may use your information for the following purposes:

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, clients, partners and associates, etc. and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:
· To charging facility operators, to facilitate your access to and use of their services.
· To payment processors and financial institutions, to process transactions and manage billing-related matters.
· To organizations managing charging activities on your behalf, such as your employer, fleet operator, or condominium manager, for administrative, billing, and operational purposes.
· To service providers, who assist us with technical support, data storage, software maintenance, customer service, and other business operations (such as analytics and search engine providers that assist us with App improvement and optimization) and who are contractually obligated to keep personal information confidential, use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them, and to process the personal information with the same standards set out in this policy.
· In accordance with applicable law, to a successor in the event of an amalgamation, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution.
· To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
· For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
· With your consent.
We may also disclose your personal information:
· To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request, in accordance with applicable law.
· To enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes, protecting the integrity of our services, and preventing or investigating fraud, security breaches, or misuse of the App.
· If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our clients, or others.
We may make your contact information available to charging facility operators or other parties that you transact with via the App to help complete the transaction.
TRANSFERRING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may transfer personal information that we collect or that you provide as described in this policy to contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our operation (such as analytics and search engine providers that assist us with App improvement and optimization) and who are contractually obligated to keep personal information confidential, use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them, and to process the personal information with the same standards set out in this policy.
We may process, store, and transfer your personal information in and to a foreign country, with different privacy laws that may or may not be as comprehensive as Canadian law. In these circumstances, the governments, courts, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies of that country may be able to obtain access to your personal information through the laws of the foreign country. Whenever we engage a service provider, we require that its privacy and security standards adhere to this policy and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
By submitting your personal information or engaging with the App, you consent to this transfer, storage, or processing.
APP STORE
Your app store (e.g., App Store or Google Play) may collect certain information in connection with your use of the App, such as personal information, payment information, geolocational information and other usage-based data. We have no control over the collection of such information by a third-party app store, and any such collection or use will be subject to that third party's applicable privacy policies.
The App may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over the privacy practices or the content of these websites. As such, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those third-party websites. You should check the applicable third-party privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any other websites.
CHOICES ABOUT HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:
· Access and update your information: You can view and edit your personal details, billing information, and vehicle data through your account settings.
· Manage communication preferences: You may opt out of receiving promotional emails and disable push notifications at any time through the App settings.
· Link or unlink payment methods: You can manage your linked credit card or bank account used for processing payments.
· Delete your account: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data, subject to our legal or operational obligations to retain certain information.
· Request data access or correction: You may contact our support team to access, correct, or inquire about the personal data we hold about you.
· Organizational account limitations: If your account is managed by an organization (e.g., employer or condominium), some controls may be subject to the organization’s policies and permissions.
The security of your personal information is very important to us. We use physical, electronic, and administrative measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you (or where you have chosen) have set up a password for access to the App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password or log in credentials with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our App. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the App. In the event of a data breach involving your personal information, we are committed to notifying you as soon as reasonably possible and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Notification will be provided using the contact information associated with your account and will include relevant details about the nature of the breach, the information affected, and any steps we are taking or recommend you take to protect your data. We take data security seriously and will act promptly to investigate and mitigate any breach to minimize impact to our users.
Except as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law or regulation, we will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Under some circumstances we may anonymize your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you. We reserve the right to use such anonymous and de-identified data for any legitimate business purpose without further notice to you or your consent.
ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
It is important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal information changes. By law you have the right to request access to and to correct the personal information that we hold about you.
If you want to review, verify, correct, or withdraw consent to the use of your personal information you may also send us an email at privacy@turogize.com to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
We may request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and your right to access, and to provide you with the personal information that we hold about you or make your requested changes. Applicable law may allow or require us to refuse to provide you with access to some or all of the personal information that we hold about you, or we may have destroyed, erased, or made your personal information anonymous in accordance with our record retention obligations and practices. If we cannot provide you with access to your personal information, we will inform you of the reasons why, subject to any legal or regulatory restrictions.

Where you have provided your consent to the collection, use, and transfer of your personal information, you may have the legal right to withdraw your consent under certain circumstances. Please note that if you withdraw your consent we may not be able to allow you to continue the use of the App or otherwise keep your user relationship with us. We will explain the impact to you at the time to help you with your decision.
It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will notify you by email to the email address provided by you or through a notice on the App home page. We include the date the privacy policy was last revised at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date, active, and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our privacy policy to check for any changes.
